Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the United States. The actor gained fame following his appearance in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in more than 20 films such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 television series including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled it ever since. The cancer relapsed after two years. Being treated at such a young age had an adverse effect on the body. It hindered his development. When he first started to make decisions, financial security appeared to be his goal. He had been in poverty throughout his childhood. He said, "I've been living so frugal for so many years that I'm in need of financial security otherwise the world will feel out-of-control and that's not good for me." Looking back at his youth, he wants to do something about the issue of bullying. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. His ideal film role as well as in real life is father. The director doesn't choose him to play those parts, however, he claims. Someday he would love to be a father himself and have the ability to dedicate less time to his career and more time with his children.
